In this course you will learn the technical tools of communication from a leadership perspective in complex organizations in which divisiveness and discord can disrupt a civil and harmonious cultural setting.   Throughout this course students will gain concepts to better identify  and address scenarios in which civility or democracy can be jeopardized when misaligned leadership styles are utilized.   The course will provide students opportunities to develop skills in intervening skillfully, energizing others,  diagnosing the situation, and managing self in tough moments.
